Morgen Manor (Robert Aull House)

Byron and Mary Nicodemus have spent several years working to restore their federal-style two-story brick home, the oldest on the tour. Built in 1838 by Robert Aull, it includes a stone foundation, as well as complete logs for floor joists on half of the house, with hand-hewn logs on the other half. In recent years, the house had been split into apartments, so they have done extensive work to remove the walls and restore the home to its original layout. Their restoration uncovered a fireplace behind the new paneling and a wooden ceiling above some plaster.

The dining room has been completely restored, and visitors will enjoy the fireplace, windows and period furnishings.
