Contestants Needed for Lexington Community Fair Baby Show

Xi Lambda Epsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will once again be coordinating the Baby Show for the Lexington Community Fair Celebration. The Baby Show will be held on Sunday afternoon, August 12th, at the Lexington Middle School.

There will be six categories: 0 – 3 months, 4 – 6 months, 7 – 12 months, 13 – 18 months, 19 – 24 months and 24 – 36 months. Boys and girls will be judged separately. Registration for all age groups starts at 2:30 p.m. for both boys and girls. There is a $5.00 per contestant entry fee.

Each group will have a first, second, and third place winner, with trophies awarded to the 1st Place winners and ribbons for 2nd and 3rd place winners. Each contestant will receive a Lexington Community Fair Blue ribbon. All first place winners will be featured in the Lexington Community Fair Parade on Saturday, August 18th.

Heidi Lynn Photography will also be on hand for anyone who wishes to have their child’s picture taken for a fee. More details will be available at the show.

*NOTE: THE JUDGING WILL START AT 3:00 P.M. WITH THE 0 – 3 MONTHS AGE GROUP FIRST AND FINISH WITH THE 24 – 36 MONTHS.

“LAST BLAST OF SUMMER” COMMUNITY POOL PARTY

Come one, come all, please join the Lexington Community Fair Board as we kick off fair week with a “Sunday Funday” at the Lexington Municipal Pool.

Grab your last chance of the year to dive into our own local facility---before bidding farewell to the hottest months of the year.

This “FREE” event is open to all ages and will include music, dancing, food, a dip in the pool and a great opportunity to hang out with friends in a safe and supervised setting. Fairgoers can swim, play in the splash zone, jet down the waterslide, and have a chance to win some cool prizes. We encourage our guests to bring a towel, sunscreen and wear appropriate swimwear.

This “FREE” pool party will be held from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 12th.

The Lexington Community Fair Board and our sponsors invite you to come on out, bring the kids and enjoy the “Last Blast of Summer” as this promises to be a great night of fun and prizes!!!!!!
